About the Author
Charles Atwood received his Bachelor's Degree from Millsaps College and his Doctorate from Florida State University. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Georgia, involved in researching the introduction of new technologies for the educational presentation and testing of chemical phenomena. He also researches emerging computer technologies that will enhance teaching of freshman chemistry. He is the author or co-author of over thirty papers appearing in the JOURNAL OF CHEMICAL EDUCATION, THE CHEMIST the JOURNAL OF RADIOANALYTICAL AND NUCLEAR CHEMISTRY, and several books. He is the Coordinator of Freshman Chemistry at the University of Georgia, which serves over 4,000 students per year.
