This book provides an advanced account of the chemical physics of liquids, which will appeal to graduate students and research workers. After a full discussion of liquid structure theories for simple monoatomic liquids such as liquid argon or liquid lead, attention is paid to both the structure of diatomic fluids such as liquid nitrogen and to molten salts. There are chapters on the thermodynamics and structure of electrolytes, atomic transport, neutron scattering and time-dependent correlation functions. The final chapter provides treatment of chemical reactions in solution, beginning with a discussion of stochastic equations.
