All specimen entries appear in their most typical crystal form or aggregate shape. Listed in columns by their mineral family, each specimen is easily located by the alphabetical index. A section of line drawings at the bottom of the chart gives a clear, step-by-step explanation of crystal forms, using most of the minerals on the chart as specific examples of each type of form.
