Book Description
Any list of the pioneers of genetics should certainly contain the name of the Russian S.S. Chetverikov. He is credited along with Haldane, Fisher, and Wright, as being a founder of the modern synthesis of genetics and evolution. Chetverikov's reputation is derived almost entirely from his classic 1926 paper. A paper that has been traditionally difficult to access, but is presented here for the first time in book form for wider availability.

About the Author
Sergei Sergeevich Chetverikov (1880-1959) was a Russian geneticist who produced his classic paper in 1926 on genetics and evolution. Charles David Mellon, M.D. (editor) is a member of the American Society of Human Genetics.
