About the Author
Dr. Thomas B. Sturtevant is a Program Manger for the Emergency Services Training Institute (ESTI) at Texas A&M University System. He is currently responsible for ESTI's ProBoard accreditation/certification and curriculum development program, the Department of Defense Emergency Services Training and Education program, as well as the Emergency Management Administration online Bachelor degree program with West Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist and has an Education Doctorate in Leadership for Teaching and Learning, as well as a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee.
