The Transforms and Applications Handbook, Second Edition
Editorial Reviews
Review
About the first edition: The editor and the 12 contributors are well qualified, and each has done an excellent job of presenting material in a lucid manner. The handbook is an excellent buy, recommended for upper-division undergraduates through researchers/faculty.
-Choice, October 1996
The material is clearly and accurately presented and fulfills the editor's aim to furnish an accessible reference work for students and engineers. I found the book pleasant and rewarding for browsing. There is a great deal of information contained in this volume, both historical and technical. I particularly enjoyed the material dealing with the Radon transform and I recommend the chapter on wavelets as an easy introduction to this increasingly important topic. Courant would approve of this book.
